About the Event
On October 31, we will host a Charity Walk and Carnival with a Halloween theme at The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club. The event aims to raise awareness about emotional health in a fun and engaging way, while encouraging everyone to participate with family and friends. Through walking together and interactive activities, we hope to strengthen emotional connections and foster social bonds. Funds raised will be fully allocated to our organization’s mental health education programs, emotional support hotline, and professional counseling services, turning your kindness into meaningful help.

"Giving back to society" is the generosity that The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club has always adhered to. Since 2003, The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club Hong Kong has been commited to the community. It has actively cooperated with numerous charity organizations, hosted and participated in different benevolent events and worked together towards a more equitable and compassionate society.
The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club Hong Kong will continue to fully support the Joyful Halloween Charity Walk to raise funds for Joyful (Mental Health) Foundation.
The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club features beautiful scenery and is normally not open to the public. This event is a rare opportunity.

Ages 12 or above (Born in or before 2014): $380 per person

Ages 4 to 11 (Born between 2015 and 2022): $120 per person

Ages 3 and under (Born in or after 2023): Free of charge
School Category: $2,500 per team (up to 15 participants)
Corporate Category: $8,000 per team (up to 20 participants) (Includes corporate/organization logo placement on the official event website.)
Purpose: To raise funds for mental health education services for low-income family.
Transportation Arragement: The organizer has arranged free shuttle buses running between the event venue and Tseung Kwan O MTR Station (B1 Exit). A limited number of parking spaces are also available at the venue for participants to purchase ($200 per space), on a first-come, first-served basis. Other external vehicles, including private cars, taxis, Uber, etc., are not permitted to enter Clear Water Bay Country Club (except for club members). Participants are advised to take the shuttle bus at Tseung Kwan O MTR Station.

-Halloween Costume Contest-

As the event coincides with Halloween, a Halloween Costume Contest will be held. All participants are encouraged to dress up to add to the festive atmosphere and fun.

The contest features the following awards: Champion, 1st Runner-up, and 2nd Runner-up (1 winner each), Merit Awards (5 winners), and Popularity Awards for Threads and Facebook (1 winner each). Winners will receive fabulous prizes (prize details will be announced later).

How to Enter:

Check-in: Arrive at the Information Counter before the walk starts (Around 09:30) on the event day. Staff will distribute your contest number and take a photo of you.

Main Awards: The Champion, Runners-up, and Merit winners will be selected by the Foundation. Results will be announced and prizes presented on the same day.

Popularity Awards: To enter, upload your event photos to the Joyful (Mental Health) Foundation's Facebook or Threads pages after the event. The photos with the most likes will win.
-Family Pumpkin Treasure Hunt Orienteering Race-

Families who have registered for the walking event can participate for free (Limited spots available, first-come, first-served).

Time: 10:45 - 11:45 (Participants can join after the walking event)

Team Size: 1–2 people per team Age Requirement: Each team must include at least one person under the age of 18

Activity Details: Each team will receive a map showing where the pumpkins are hidden. Participants need to find all the pumpkins and answer the questions correctly. The fastest team to collect all the stamps and return to the starting point wins.

Prizes: The top 5 finishers will receive a gift.

This is not a professional sports event, and the actual distance of the route may be slightly less than 3.5 km. Please be advised.

The route contains several steep slopes. Please pace yourself accordingly and look after the needs of yourself and your companions. If you feel unwell at any point, feel free to turn back or approach our staff for assistance.
